西台の家
東京都内の築30年のマンション1室のリノベーションプロジェクト。
100平米の専有面積の中で家族４人が生活するための住まいとして計画した。
子供の成長とともに住まい方が変化していく状況の中で、出来るだけその変化に対応できるようなフレキシブルな住居が求められた。
スケルトンの空間を、床材の切り替えとテキスタイルによる軽い間仕切りによって適度にスペースを区切りながら生活できるような構成とした。
既存の躯体を活かすよう薄くグレー塗装された空間に、染色したフローリング、コルク、数種類のテキスタイル、人工大理石やレザーを使用した造作家具など、その様々な仕上げとマテリアルの組み合わせが、フォトグラファーの大矢真理子氏の写真によって表情豊かに切り取られている。
Renovation project of one room in a 30-year-old apartment block in Tokyo
We designed this home for a family of four within a private area of 100 sqm. A flexible dwelling was required to accommodate lifestyle changes for the growing children.
Changing the floor materials and lightly partitioning the space with textiles structure the skeleton space so that the family can live in it while appropriately dividing it.
To make use of the existing skeleton the space is painted light grey with stained flooring, cork, several textiles, artificial marble and leather furniture. These finishes and material combinations are expressively captured in Mariko Oya’s photographs.
