一番町の家

東京、千鳥ヶ淵至近の一番町に佇む築50年のヴィンテージマンションの一室を賃貸用にリノベーションするプロジェクト。
総平米数140平米のアパートメントは全ての窓が南西向き、また緑に囲まれた豊かな環境が印象的だった。また、築年数も手伝い、天井が低いことも、今回のリノベーションにおける空間の考え方に大きく影響した。

入口の扉を開けると、淡い色の無垢材床がゲストを優しく迎えてくれる。正面には、テキスタイルでしつらえられた一見障子のようなスクリーン、そのスクリーンを開けるとグリッドが美しいシェルフとデスクカウンターが備え付けられている書斎がある。スクリーンを開けたままにしておくと、玄関を開けた時からアパートメントが緑に囲まれた心地良い空間に存在することを認識することが出来る。
そして、家の最も南側に位置するリビング・ダイニングエリアは50平米と広々と気持ちの良いエリアだったが天井高が低いことから、窓際に低めの造作ベンチを設置することで、目線を少し下げながらもモダンに暮らせるような提案ができたと思う。リビング・ダイニングとキッチンも隣合わせにプランすることで、ホームパーティなどを開催するニーズにも応えられるように検討した。

書斎から北側には浴室、寝室等の機能を重視したエリアを集め、南側に向けて、家族やゲストと集えるようなエリアを配置していった。これらエリアを区切りながらも完全に分断するのではなく、家の中に南北に横断する大きめの通路を作ることで家の中で起こっていることの気配をそれぞれがストレスなく感じられるようにプランニングを行った。

Upon opening the entrance door, visitors are greeted by light-colored solid wood flooring. A textile screen in front that looks like a shoji screen opens into a study with a beautiful grid of shelves and a desk counter. By keeping the screen open, the flat appears to exist in a pleasant green space as soon as you open the front door.
The living-dining area, located on the most southerly side of the house, is a spacious and pleasant area of 50 sqm. As the ceiling height is low, we installed a low bench by the window to propose a modern way of living while lowering the eye line slightly. The living-dining area and kitchen were also planned next to each other to meet the needs of hosting home parties.

On the north side of the study, there are functional areas such as bathrooms and bedrooms, and on the south side, a space where families and guests can gather. While separating these areas, the planning was not to completely divide them but to create a large passageway crossing the house from north to south, allowing each person to feel the presence of the house without being overwhelmed by it.
